Sorry, there will be no post today. The rest of the family including Bill came down with the flu in the middle of the night. He was scheduled for chemo treatment tomorrow but had to reschedule for next Thursday.

  2. If I had a Cubs blanket on me, I'd feel sick too.

  3. hey bill, i realize that dan is a really GOOD friend of yours but can we ask him NICELY to refrain from the low blows about the cubs please? (nothin' personal dan as i am sure you are a very nice guy :) HOWEVER...how can you give these guys a hard time when you can clearly see in zachs face just how sick he is and the truth of the matter is....he feels great comfort in that cub blanket!
anyway, ALL of you are in my thoughts and prayers!!! this flu is going around and it certainly is the LAST thing you need to be dealing with huh? i pray for a quick recovery for all of you!
    ONLY 12 MORE DAYS!
blessings of good health to all! deb:)

  4. Awe now, I do believe I'm one of the good guys...

See, no one gets more ribbing about their sports team than me...I'm a RAMS fan.

But at least the Rams have won a championship in the past 100 years or so.

    :-)

I'm not trying to be mean...if I were doing that I would have said anyone with a Cubs' blanket would feel sick. I said I would feel sick too if I had a Cubs' blanket on...meaning I would be sick like Zach if "I" had a blanket like that on.

But whatever, if the ribbing is causing such a problem, I'll stop.

    :-)

  5. Dan is one of the good guys. He bought Bill a Cubs hat and shirt a couple of weeks ago. In fact I think Bill was wearing it in one of the pictures. Bill gives Dan as much grief about the Sox as Dan gives to Bill about the Cubs.

In football, from what I heard, Dan gets it bad about the Rams. I guess this is how the guys show each other their love.

By the way Dan, Deb was the one who made Bill the warm and fuzzy Cubs blanket. Didn't she do a great a job?

  6. Yes, Sally, she did.

And also, Sally, I really don't think Bill could have a better companion than you, standing by him so strongly in the face of this huge battle.

I pray for you guys every day!!!!!

May God bless and keep your whole family strong!!!!

  9. oh dan, i meant no harm (personally) at all, HONEST! any friend of bill's is a great guy i'm sure! trust me when i tell you that cub fans have surely dealt with more "ribbing" than any other fan on earth! actually, that's just another reason we all stick together! did i mention that i'm a die hard packer fan too? talk about a lethal combination growing up in the south suburbs of chicago! :) all in all the fact that baseball is just around the corner is the best news i can give to all fans right now! sure hope the weather starts to improve!ONLY 9 more days to go! :) deb

  10. Hi Deb,
I just read your last comment today. It's all good. The blanket looks very nice. It would just look better with White Sox on it.

    :-)

Sorry I didn't get to meet you at the benefit.

    Dan
