Christmas Eve 2011

Last night, I was called back to the hospital.  Bill needed to have two infusions of whole blood.  This morning he was feeling much better.  He was told that if the blood cutler tested negative and the rest of the labs looked good, he could be home tonight.

While he waited, he had many visitors today.  First his mom, dad, brother Mike, and his nephew Eli.  Then his sister Lisa visited him with lots of goodies. Our friend Ron and his 3 little ones paid a visit. They brought Bill a Cubs book.  My sister Stacie visited him as well.  It was nice for him to know that so many people care.  It was great for me, because I didn't feel guilty not being there. I was able to stay home and take care of somethings.

Early evening, he found out he was able to go home.  If that wasn't enough good news, "Santa" made sure we had a good dinner tonight.  We are a very blessed family with many great family and friends.  Thank you.
Sally
